Creating an account on Koverly is quick and free!

Koverly has two different user account levels: a "Full Account" and a "Light Account". In this article, we'll explain the difference between the two and how to get started.

1) Koverly Full Account

A "Full Account" gives you access to Koverly's full feature set so that you can make cross-border business payments in 128 currencies, access competitive FX rates with no wire fees and collect payments through your own online payment portal.

To get started, go to https://app.koverly.com/signup

You will first be prompted to create a password and verify it with 2-factor authentication. After providing some general business information you will once again perform a 2- factor authentication to secure your account. 

To comply with international banking regulations, we conduct entity identity verification for every account prior to activation. This requires you to provide some detailed information about the company and ownership. Read here for details on required information. 

Once all of the information has been provided, full accounts are typically activated within 24 hours.

1) Koverly Light Account

The "Light Account" option is only available to users receiving invoices through the Koverly platform from a vendor.

To create a "Light Account" you must first click on the vendor's payment link and complete a payment. This can be a link to a specific bill that is sent to you by the vendor, or a general payment link for which you will need to enter an invoice number and bill amount to get to the payment page.

Once on the payment page, you will go through the full checkout process for the bill. At the end of the payment checkout, you will be given the option to create a password.

You will then be asked to verify your email and bank account information. Once you do this, a "Light Account" will be created.

To access your account moving forward, simply click on the vendor's payment link to navigate to a payment page and login with the username and password you used to create the account.

Light accounts allow you to pay this specific vendor’s invoices faster and easier by securely storing your payment information.

“Light accounts” have limited functionality and essentially only allow for payments to a single vendor. You can access full features by creating a free “full account.”
